BodyTite®

BodyTite Treatment in New Jersey

After achieving significant weight loss, many individuals find that loose skin and stubborn fat deposits can diminish the visibility of their efforts. BodyTite provides a solution to refine and reshape problem areas through a non-surgical, minimally invasive procedure that reduces excess fat and tightens lax skin at the same time. With BodyTite, our patients from Toms River, Millburn, and Monmouth County, New Jersey, enjoy a more streamlined physique without the extended recovery time or risks associated with traditional body contouring surgery.

What is BodyTite?

BodyTite is a non-surgical body contouring procedure that utilizes RFAL (Radio-Frequency Assisted Lipolysis) technology. The RF energy not only melts away stubborn fat but also promotes significant skin tightening through enhanced collagen production. BodyTite technology is minimally invasive compared to traditional liposuction and body lifts or skin surgery, offering substantial aesthetic enhancements with less risk of complications.

In a scientific study, 85% of patients reported satisfaction with their body contouring results, 82% noted significant improvements in skin tightness, and plastic surgeons observed that nearly 75% of their patients achieved good to excellent results after a Trusetd Source Checkbox Trusted Source Radiofrequency-assisted liposuction device for body contouring: 97 patients under local anesthesia Theodorou SJ, Paresi RJ, Chia CT Go to Source BodyTite procedure.

What areas can BodyTite Treat?

BodyTite is versatile, allowing for precise treatment of various problem areas where stubborn fat and loose skin are present, including:

  • Abdomen
  • Flanks
  • Arms
  • Thighs
  • Chest
  • Knees

Who is a Good Candidate for BodyTite?

Ideal candidates for BodyTite are individuals close to their desired body weight but struggle with localized fat deposits and loose skin. Patients should also be at or near their goal weight, have established healthy diet and lifestyle habits, and should have realistic expectations about what can be achieved through non-surgical body sculpting.

Our patients who have undergone bariatric surgery find that BodyTite is an ideal way to fine-tune their appearance after weight loss. BodyTite is not a weight loss procedure and can’t achieve the same effects as body contouring or skin surgery for patients with significant extra skin after weight loss.

Preparing for BodyTite

Preparation involves a consultation to discuss your aesthetic goals, medical history, and specific needs. Our specialists will provide detailed pre-procedure guidelines, which may include adjustments to your medication regimen and recommendations for the days leading up to your treatment to ensure optimal results.

The BodyTite Procedure

BodyTite is performed under local anesthesia, or general anesthesia if multiple areas are treated simultaneously, to ensure patient comfort throughout the procedure. The process typically lasts between 1 to 3 hours, depending on the extent of the area treated.

The BodyTite procedure is performed using a small cannula that houses an internal and external electrode. This setup allows for precise delivery of radio-frequency energy directly to the fat cells, causing them to liquefy while simultaneously tightening the surrounding skin by stimulating collagen production. The incisions used for BodyTite are very small, and our surgeons are careful to strategically place them so that visible scarring is minimized.

BodyTite Recovery & Results

Patients typically experience a swift and straightforward recovery following a BodyTite procedure, with most able to resume normal activities within a few days. Initially, mild soreness and swelling are common, but these symptoms generally subside quickly. Compression garments may be recommended to support the healing process and optimize the contouring effect.

BodyTite results can be observed almost immediately after the procedure and will continue to improve over the following six months as the body naturally produces more collagen, leading to further skin tightening and refinement of the treated area.

FAQs about BodyTite

Can I treat multiple areas at the same time with BodyTite?

Yes, it is possible to address multiple areas in one session, which we can determine based on your specific needs during the consultation.

How long does the BodyTite treatment take?

The duration depends on the number and size of areas treated, generally ranging from 1 to 3 hours.

How long do BodyTite results last?

Results from BodyTite are long-lasting, but will not be maintained after significant weight gain. To preserve your BodyTite results, maintain a stable weight, healthy diet, and regular exercise.

Is BodyTite a substitute for a tummy tuck?

BodyTite is ideal for treating localized problem areas, but is not a suitable alternative to plastic surgery for patients who have significant excess skin or fat. While BodyTite can be used to melt small pockets of fat and tighten lax skin on the abdomen, it does not tighten the underlying abdominal muscles or remove excess skin, which are key components of the tummy tuck procedure.
